Two minutes, not twenty
Smart defaults, fields prefilled from the shift and your phone’s own dictation mean the note is done before you’ve left the driveway.
Software for independent NDIS support workers and support coordinators. Shift notes, handover, incidents, participant records, calendar and invoicing — the day-to-day record-keeping, in one place.

Learn moreAsk a support worker what they like least about the job and almost nobody says the support. It’s the hour afterwards — the notes, the invoices, the chasing.
"I used to do my notes on Sunday night for the whole week and half of it was guesswork. Now it's done in the car and my invoices go out the same day."
Smart defaults, fields prefilled from the shift and your phone’s own dictation mean the note is done before you’ve left the driveway.
Not a colleague, not another worker on the same participant. Your record stays yours — enforced, not promised.
Saturday, Sunday and public holiday rates picked from the shift itself. No more fortnightly mental arithmetic.
Income, expenses and net for the financial year, on one screen. Tax time stops being an afternoon you dread.
SW Ally tells you when the app is offline, so you never assume a note went in when it did not. Finish and submit once you are back on.
No clock-in, no GPS, no manager dashboard tracking your movements. You’re a professional, not a tracked asset.
Coordination shouldn’t mean texting six workers to ask whether they wrote up Tuesday. SW Ally shows you what’s actually outstanding, and lets you fix it in a click.
"Half my week was working out what hadn't been done yet. Having it on one screen — and being able to send an RFS without opening Word — is the whole reason we moved."
Needs Attention answers a single question — what needs me? — and when it’s empty, you can actually believe it.
Support recorded with no note is flagged automatically, with one button to remind the worker.
Auto-filled from the participant record, branded as yours, sent to several providers and tracked to a response.
Export a participant’s notes, outcomes, incidents and goal progress across any date range as one clean PDF.
Assign a task with a due date and follow it Pending → Completed → Verified. Direct coordinator-to-worker, not a public marketplace.
Unlimited participants, unlimited workers, every feature. No card, no trial clock, no seat count creeping up on you.
SW Ally isn’t a shift-note app with extras bolted on. It’s the whole loop, in order, with nothing you have to re-type twice.
Documentation and billing stay together. Invoices are built from the shift itself, so what you bill and what you wrote up always match. Coordinators can also require a completed shift note before an invoice is raised for their participants — it’s a setting, so it fits how you and your coordinator actually work.
Your business details are saved once. Each participant stores their plan manager, submission email and payment terms once. After that, an invoice is a tap.

Another worker can never read yours.
Australian data residency, by design.
We can’t casually browse participant notes.
Progress report PDFs and invoice exports, from the web app.
Almost nobody — and never quietly.
Access in SW Ally comes from actual relationships: which participants you’re assigned to, which coordinator you’re connected with. It’s enforced on the server for every single request, so changing an ID in a URL gets you a “not found”, not somebody else’s record. Even we can’t browse participant content casually. Where support or a legal request genuinely requires it, an operator has to record a written reason, access is time-limited, and the whole event is loudly audit-logged.
Read the privacy policyOne row on the home screen, for the moments the paperwork isn’t the problem. The emergency numbers and contacts are available now; the community location tools are planned.
Quick access to emergency phone numbers — 000 and the Police Assistance Line — plus the coordinator’s card and the participant’s emergency contacts. Tapping one opens your phone’s dialler; SW Ally does not place the call and does not send your location. SW Ally is not an emergency service.
Planned. An accessible-facilities filter over public toilet data, because that’s the part that matters.
Planned. The nearest registered AED, drawn from published registers.
Planned. Patrol status for the closest patrolled beach before a community access outing.
We’re building for the people who make the scheme work day to day — the independent workers doing the shifts and the coordinators holding it all together.
Everything a worker needs after the shift, in one place — that is the whole brief we are building to.
Replace with a real pilot quote before launchNo. An independent worker can run the whole thing alone — participants, notes and invoices. Your notes are your professional record: stored, dated and exportable for whenever the NDIS, an auditor or a future coordinator asks. If a coordinator connects later, your existing history stays intact under your account.
Never. Shift notes are private formal records. Your coordinator can see notes for their own participants; a colleague sharing the same participant cannot — that rule is enforced in the database queries themselves, not just hidden in the interface.
Free forever for one participant, and free for support coordinators on every feature. Paid worker plans start at $19.99 a month with a 7-day free trial.
No. SW Ally creates, sends and tracks your invoices to plan managers and self-managed participants. It doesn’t lodge claims through the NDIS portal, and it isn’t an accounting platform — at tax time you export the year and hand it to your accountant.
SW Ally detects that it is offline and tells you, rather than pretending the note was saved. Notes are not queued up and sent automatically once the signal returns, so finish and submit the note when you are back online.
Deliberately not. No clock-in surveillance, no GPS tracking, no rostering, no payroll. Those are explicitly out of scope. SW Ally is documentation, communication and getting paid.
In Sydney, Australia — application, database and document storage all in the ap-southeast-2 region. Documents are private by default and served through signed URLs, and sensitive actions are audit-logged.
Free for one participant, free for coordinators on everything, and set up in fifteen minutes. No credit card needed.
